Biography

Composer, pianist and harpsichordist. Graduated in pianoforte and in Classical Literature with a thesis on the Emperor Julian in Ammianus’ History: the Campaign in Gaul; a research on the Roman Army in the IV century AD.
He composes studies and pieces for piano (Attese, for piano solo – 2020), polyphonic music for choir and orchestral ensemble, many songs for the theatre and for the school too (Prigione di vetro – 2010); he makes popular songs and spiritual music arrangements with combine the original themes with the classical music style. He composes music using the texts of Latin and Greek classical literature such as Vergilius and Homer, for choir and orchestra. He composed musical plays for soloists, chorus, and orchestra: La Tempesta (2022 – not yet completed), based on The Tempest by W. Shakespeare, with the original lyrics by Massimo Cadamuro; Il segreto del bosco vecchio (2015), inspired by the novel of Dino Buzzati, with the original lyrics by Massimo Cadamuro; Sogno di una notte di mezza estate (2011), an italian version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by W. Shakespeare, lyrics by Massimo Cadamuro and William Shakespeare; La Pisanelle (2010) inspired by a piece written by G. D’Annunzio; The Merry Wives of Windsor (2008) based on the W. Shakespeare play.
CHOIR AND ENSEMBLE CONDUCTOR: from 2014 to 2021 Choir director of choir Cavallino in Cavallino – Treporti (VE); from 2014 the choir coro Vocinvolo in San Donà di Piave (VE), constituted of the Mental-Health Centre patients and staff; rom 2013 to 2014: Choir director of the gospel group Spiritual Angels Gospel Choir in Pramaggiore, Italy. From 2004 to 2019: Conductor of the choir Vox Nova in Silea di Treviso, Italy. From 2004: Teacher and director of the choir and chamber music orchestra of the liceo classico Eugenio Montale in San Donà di Piave, Italy. From 1993: He founded in 1993 and directs the ensemble Sweet Sound Singers, which is a group that performs gospel and negro spiritual music in an original way, a cappella or with classical orchestra instruments. In this way traditional gospel and blues vocal arrangements combine with chamber classical music. He records the CD Tityre: a collection of his compositions based on some suggestive passages of the most significant works of all times and poems by contemporary authors: from Alcman to Vergilius, William Shakespeare, Melchiorre Cesarotti and Gabriele D’Annunzio and others.
